Case study
CHEFFY EGOR egg-cooking robot
Bring-up of the control and interface electronics behind the round front panel: the main controller, the display, three buttons and the motor driver for smooth stepper motion. EGOR was funded on Kickstarter by 4,233 backers.

Mutual NDA first
We'll sign a mutual NDA before any technical discussion starts. Just ask for it on the call or by email.
You own the files
Schematics, layouts, firmware source, CAD and production files belong to you. You'll get the native Altium or KiCad files, not just PDFs and Gerbers.
How to start

What does Electuni do?
Electuni LLC is a US company founded in 2016 that develops electronic products from idea to production. We cover hardware and schematic design, PCB layout, firmware, IoT and cloud dashboards, enclosures, DFM/DFT review and manufacturing support. You can hire us for the whole product or for one part of it.
Who does the PCB layout?
Our PCB design division, Circuit Board Design (circuit-board-design.com). It's the team that handles multi-layer, HDI, RF and impedance-controlled layout and runs the pre-fab design reviews. The lead designer is IPC CID+ certified.
Which EDA tools do you use and what files do we get?
Altium Designer is our primary tool and we're just as comfortable in KiCad. You'll get the native project files in either format plus Gerber or ODB++, the BOM, the pick-and-place file and fabrication and assembly drawings.
Do you manufacture the boards?
No. We don't fabricate or assemble boards in house. We prepare production files and assembly documentation and work with your chosen manufacturer or our partner manufacturers on prototypes and production runs.
Who owns the design files and is an NDA signed?
The designs, source code and files we deliver for your project are yours. We sign a mutual NDA before any technical discussion starts.
How is a project quoted?
Every project gets a fixed quote before work starts. For a board, layer count, part count, fine-pitch or BGA parts and RF or high-speed routing are what move the number. Send a schematic or a rough spec and we'll reply with a scope and a quote.
